Circular Cities: The Copenhagen Model

Municipality of Copenhagen

Resource efficiency is an initiative within the Regional Growth and Development Strategy of the Capital Region of Denmark. In the coming years, local authorities, businesses and knowledge institutions will become equipped to seize the growth and development opportunities of the transition to a circular economy. The strategy supports a shared vision with two frameworks: efficient and sustainable mobility and a highly-skilled workforce and internationalization built on four growth areas: health and welfare technology growth, green growth, creative growth and smart growth.
