In 2017 Aalborg decided to set up a framework agreement for school furniture and used the opportunity to transform its approach away from simply buying tables and chairs to one that creates an inspiring learning environment that supports learners’ needs while advancing the circular economy. In doing so Aalborg asked potential suppliers to go beyond supply and inspire, challenge, and provide a comprehensive proposal for a new classroom environment.
