Ontario’s Climate Change Action plan describes the actions taken over five years (2016-2020) to fight climate change, reduce greenhouse gas pollution, and help move the province to a prosperous low-carbon economy. The plan recognizes that managing how resources are used is critical. It commits to reducing emissions from waste; decrease reliance on virgin materials; enhance environmental protection; foster economic growth; and move Ontario toward a circular economy.
