In 2018, the City of Ludwigsburg wanted to award a two-year framework agreement for office stationery and office material, such as copy paper, pens, desks, and folders. The city aimed to purchase a lean range of products with high ordering volume to reduce costs while also allowing for green criteria to be included in the tender. Based on market research, the strictest possible sustainability criteria were used, and suppliers were encouraged to produce and deliver products as sustainably as possible.
