Germany’s National Programme on Sustainable Consumption aims to make sustainable consumption possible for everyone. It is the first step towards implementing the 2030 Agenda and is structured to drive the changes needed to bring consumption patterns in line with carrying capacity of the planet. The programme is divided into five chapters that describe the issues, relevant fields of action, identifies specific measures for each area as well as those in need of further attention.
