The National Action Plan (NAP) focuses on the fast and efficient implementation of sustainable production and consumption to ensure economic development, environmental protection, poverty reduction, and restructured economy. The objective is to change production and consumption patterns gradually. The plan requires integrating sustainable production and consumption activities into existing programs, strategies, and plans; take a lifecycle approach to products; improve resource efficiency in management systems and; minimize waste and environmental impacts.
