Towards a Model of Circular Economy is a strategic framework and starting point for Italy that links their commitement to fostering a circular economy. It will inform the National Action Plan on the Circular Economy that will prescribe goals, policy measures, and implementation tools. It outlines circular economy principles and how they can be applied in the Italian context. It recognizes the need for new business models such as sustainable purchasing; reduce/reuse/recycle resources; product life extension; sharing platforms; products as service; as well as measurement tools to evaluate progress.
