On July 20, 2010, the Council of Ministers adopted the Austrian Action Plan for Sustainable Public Procurement (naBe Action Plan). In addition to goals and measures, the naBe Action Plan also contains specific environmental criteria for products from 16 procurement groups. The Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) is responsible for implementing the naBe action plan.
