The European Green Deal is a growth strategy developed in response to environmental and societal challenges with an aim to decouple growth and prosperity from resource extraction. The deal will work through a framework of regulations; set targets alongside incentives to encourage investment; and implement action plans for key sectors and goals such as halting species loss, cutting waste, and better use of natural resources.
