The Eleventh Malaysia Plan (2016-2020) goal is to build on the tenth Malaysia Plan to strengthen the nation’s resilience to climate change and initiate a shift to green growth. Two primary outcomes have been set in the plan and will be achieved through the green growth strategy framework. There are four focus areas in the framework: enabling green growth, adopt sustainable production and consumption patterns, conserve natural resources, and strengthening resilience against natural disasters and climate change.
