Skåne Regional Council decided to alter its purchasing approach for protective disposable aprons to a more environmentally friendly product alternative. The pilot project aimed to procure 5.2 million bio-based disposable aprons, and test an innovation procurement (PPI) approach to develop knowledge to use this procurement process to demonstrate greater circularity.
